The senior dinner was.
It was a very good microcosm of high school.
At my glorious table sat Sam Lauf to my left and Ms. Brigance to my right, with Caroline and then Taylor Rooney, Lazar, Christy Heidbreder and Lisa. Ms. Brigance is getting married in two weeks to Caroline, once she becomes legal.
Mr. Danenbarger was the speaker, as he is well-spoken and good friends with brevity. He ate two marshmellows. We are all practiced gratification delayers.
